Memory Lane

As I give my resume and my website a little tune-up, I've been scrolling through my Instagram, all the way back to the beginning, 900-ish posts ago. I was curious what I used to post when I first got it, and how my posts have evolved over the last 6 years. Holy cow. Six years?! Anyways, I love throwbacks and memory lanes and timehops. If you don't know me, you probably don't know that I notoriously have the actual worst memory. Like... the worst. Almost no memory whatsoever. So, when I see old pictures of things I most definitely had forgotten ever even happened or existed, my heart gets happy and the memory comes back and takes me right back to that very moment.

I was scrolling and screenshotting any photos of artwork that I had done, and to my total surprise, I had a lot more art posts than I would have guessed prior to scrolling. Seriously, if someone asked me yesterday to name some artwork I had done in the last 6 years (aka during highschool and college), I would have literally only named like 4 pieces, all of which I have done within the last year. That's how bad my memory is.

So, needless to say, I just got so so happy when I found pictures of all these projects I had totally forgotten doing! Since the photos aren't exactly awesome, and the artwork isn't on it's best display, I figured I'd keep them tucked away in this little blog post instead of including them in my "Artwork" page.

Here are some Instagram photos of projects I have done over the last several years... mostly from the earlier half of them...

Enjoy :)
